TWILIGHT

Documentary | UK (2001) | 12min

TWILIGHT is a journey along the former Berlin wall strip at the turn of the millennium. The film tells the story of the wall using light phenomena: the transformation of a brightly lit strip in the middle of the city that is suddenly switched off, leaving a dark scar until new light sources appear in different places and shapes and re-illuminate the area. Uncertainty and chaos, ambiguity and opposites collide with adventurous and sometimes bold visions of the new city along the wall.
